Good health is your birthright

Naturopathy is a science and philosophy that uses a variety of methods to help your body return to its natural state of good health. The system acknowledges that the whole of us - our physical body, our thoughts and emotions - are interconnected and influence the level of health we experience at any one time.

We know we are out of balance when we experience health symptoms such as a lack of energy, indigestion, irritable bowel, skin issues, breathlessness, headaches, body odour ...  If these symptoms are left to develop further, we are likely to be heading into an undesirable health future.   Therefore health symptoms should be seen as an opportunity for us to correct the imbalance that has become apparent.  Preventing disease is much easier than reversing disease although these days even the most serious of diseases can be effectively worked with.

I consider many factors when assessing the cause of your health situation including all of your signs & symptoms (they are related to each other and tell a story), what you eat and drink, medications, lifestyle and hereditary influences.  The eye reading techniques of iridology and sclerology are invaluable to this assessment.

The remedies and techniques I favour work holistically. With your belief system and financial position in mind, one or several of the following approaches may be recommended:
- herbal medicine, homeobotanicals, flower essences
- nutritional and lifestyle guidance
- EMF Technique, energy balancing, stress management techniques
- reflexology, massage therapy
I will refer you to other healthcare providers where appropriate.

Combining the best of holistic medicine and orthodox medicine is the most effective approach for the health issues of some people. Natural therapies work very well alongside medications to address the cause of your health issue or to manage the undesirable side effects of the medication.  In many cases, prescriptions can be reduced or eliminated over time as health and wellbeing returns.
